| The Atelier Berger is in the Rue Berger in the centre of the Halles area of Paris. It is a convivial and elegant restaurant with a modern dining room and designer tableware. The Atelier Berger also has a smoking room unique in Paris where you can relax while smoking a cigar, sample a glass of wine and snack on tapas dishes. The wine cellar and the French specialities cooked up by chef Jean Christiansen (known for his cod and puff pastry tart) are of such high quality that this restaurant has become a reference for Parisian gourmet specialists. The menus change with the seasons and contain lots of surprises such as the melon and orange gaspacho or the lobster, penne and parmesan bake. Fruit is present in many of the desserts with caramelised bananas and passion fruit making regularly appearences. |
