| Pierre au Palais Royal is a traditional French restaurant which has recently had a makeover. This 60 year old institution was taken over by Eric Sertour in 2007, a heavyweight of the French culinary world. He is passionate about good quality produce and likes to let his clients know exactly what they are eating with highly detailed menus. The restaurant has a great location especially if you are theatre goer as it is just a short distance from both the Palais Royal Theatre and the Comedie Française. The recent redecoration has made this a give the restaurant classical elegance. The atmosphere is more convivial than trendy. All the produce is sourced at the very best of French suppliers. Try the French black pudding with old fashioned vegetables, for dessert sample the Breton biscuits with apple and toffee sauce. The wine list has been selected by Eric Sertour to match the menu but remains reasonably priced. |
