| Sur un R de Flora is the brainchild of a lusophone couple. The concept is based around the cuisine, music and arts from all lusophone countries, meaning any countries where Portuguese is spoken such as Brazil, Cap Vert, Angola, and Mozambique. Antonio is from Portugal and is wife Flora is from Cap Vert. This former pizzeria located near the Nation metro station has been redecorated with bright green, fuchsia and purple colours and is decorated with photos and lights. There is a window overlooking the kitchen so you can watch the chefs at work. Open 7 days a week, Sur un R de Flora is more than just a restaurant, it is also a bar where groups often play and a relaxing place for a glass of wine accompanied by a tapas style dish. There are frequently artists works exhibited on the walls and as a little extra there is free WIFI! |
