| Both a cocktail bar and trendy restaurant, Le Why Paris is the latest hotspot in the Les Halles area in Paris’ 1st arrondissement. The owner, a former chef and barman of Byblos, has created a fashionable lounge space with a chic décor of warm colours, exposed brickwork, leather seating and wooden flooring and the music is provided by the resident DJ from Martinez. The cocktails are exquisite here and the two storey space complete with an amazing vaulted cellar make for a unique venue. The menu offers a good choice of tapas such as club sandwiches, croques etc along with a few surprises from the chef. Lunchtimes offer great fixed price menus priced between 12 and 15 Euros or you can choose a 3 course meal from the menu for about 24 Euros including dishes such as beef carpaccio, entrecote with pepper sauce and pannacotta with carambar. Cocktails come in at about 12 Euros. |
